Dear Doerksen Family:
Our deepest condolences in the loss of Marty. We just learned of his passing Aug 25 and were out of town at the time of his Memorial Service. We have many treasured memories and pictures of both Marty and Andy of our get together's taken over the year. They will be that more treasured now. God Bless You All.

When I think of your family and the relationships you all had with your dad I thought of a poem I had recently read and want to share it with you all, I know it is a picture of your dad.
Father Poem
The poem is in praise of a father who does not sing his own praises and therefore others sing his.
Dad
© Karen K. Boyer
He never looks for praises
He's never one to boast
He just goes on quietly working
For those he loves the most
His dreams are seldom spoken
His wants are very few
And most of the time his worries
Will go unspoken too
He's there.... A firm foundation
Through all our storms of life
A sturdy hand to hold to
In times of stress and strife
A true friend we can turn to
When times are good or bad
One of our greatest blessings,
The man that we call Dad.

We the Anderson Family spent may wonderful times both with Aunty Edna and Uncle Marty and more in the past few years with just Uncle Marty. He was always a gracious hostess, kind hearted and loving to us all. He will be missed by us all and know that he is enjoying heaven with all it splendor and his friend and Saviour Jesus. We will really miss you Uncle and your visits. Your neice Lavona
